Spring Holidays Part One!

We kick off the year of posts with a list of upcoming spring holidays! Check it out below the break!




So you ran around on Toy Day. You had a great time. You stayed up on new years eve and watched the countdown like everybody else. Happy New Year!! Now what? Well, the holidays aren't over! Here's a list of minor and major (ish) holidays to come for the spring!

To start things off, we have New Leaf in just seven days! This is simply the day leaves turn green, but I figured that since it has a name, I should put it up!

Next up is Groundhog Day on February 2! Be sure to talk to Isabelle at the event plaza to get a Resetti model!!

This next one is in either February or March, and it varies every year. (This year it should be early February.) And you can run around and collect feathers for Pave, the Dancing Peacock! I personally really love the furniture set that comes out of this!

After Festivale, you reach Valentine's Day! A number of things happen on Valentine's Day, which happens to be on February 14th. For one, Isabelle will send you a chocolate cake. If you have any good friends in town (villagers you help out or visit a lot) they may give you a chocolate heart, and you may even receive purple or pink roses! Your mom even sends you something, and if you have The Roost, It serves Hot Cocoa instead of coffee!

On February 25th, The grass changes from snowy to green, which is called New Grass! Otherwise it's kind of a normal day.

March 2nd is weeding day! Make sure you have picked every weed the night before, and Lief the Sloth will award you with topiaries to place as a public works project!

March 17th is Shamrock Day! Head to Isabelle in the event plaza for a Shamrock hat!

2 days later is Fathers Day! Check your mail for a red carnation!

Sometime in March or April is mother's day! You get a pink carnation this time!

Another varied date, Easter!!!! This is a pretty in depth one, so you may want to just click the embedded link to read up on it!

April first is Toy Day round 2... Just Kidding! It's April Fools! You can find Blanca and Participate in Shenanigans for the day to get special rewards! Once again, you should probably just check the link.
